Fitness Trends 2018

The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) has released a list with the main current trends for the fitness world. In 2018, the list's number one was High Intensity Interval Training, the famous HIIT, about which we have already written around here. HIIT is among the main trends for a few years now, just as wearables - the watches or bracelets which monitor the user's heartbeats and exercising. The list also compruses the traditional items, such as strength training and personal trainer. See that it hasn't any magical food or a method noly known by that weight lifting guru? Do you know why that happens?
Because ACSM is a serious institution. And, that being said, it doesn't say things they aren't sure about, and certainly don't put people into dangerous situations. We're living an era in which image is worth much more than the product, in which "being" is less important than "what it seems to be".
There is nothing bad about staying tuned to what's going on in the market. We're all tempted to search for new ways to reach our goals. But if we're not willing to be frustrated, we need to keep our feet on the ground while making choices.

True! So here's a tip for you: don't trust those who promise to do what no one else can. When we talk about the human body, there is no magic. Our body has physiological limits which won't be surpassed without causing some kind of health risks.
